http://spark-academy.co.uk/ We are lucky that Spark Academy, a tutoring company, led by Mital Thanki MBA, uses our site for its sessions. These run after school and the details can be found on their website. Mital has offered MHS pupils a 10% discount for the first month and the first month free if they sign up for 12 months. Spark Academy sessions at Manor High School, in Copse Close, were a huge hit for children and parents at Manor High before the pandemic, when they were temporarily put on hold. The academy, whose Head Quarter Centre is based in Melton Road, Leicester, has a history in the town. It first held classes in Oadby in 2009 before opening a base in The Parade in 2011. After-school tuition was then introduced at Manor High in 2016 before sessions ended with the coronavirus outbreak. Founder & CEO, Mital Thanki, said: "Although we were able to provide online tutoring throughout the pandemic, we really missed teaching students from Oadby and its surrounding areas in a face-to-face setting. "We have seen first-hand the effects of the pandemic on students' academic, well-being and holistic development. "Our tutoring programme has developed significantly since we were last at Manor High School to meet the needs of the students post-pandemic. It is not only about the knowledge and understanding of the core subjects, but also their application to exam questions, and more importantly, developing the pupils' confidence and 'can-do' attitude to their learning and life. "We are incredibly excited to be returning and we are grateful to everyone at Manor High School for the opportunity to be of service to parents and students in Oadby again." Starting on 08 February, the new classes are available for Maths, English & Science and will be held on Wednesday's in the Science Block at Manor High School. Manor High School headteacher Liam Powell said: "We're absolutely delighted to see the return of Spark Academy at the Manor High site. We have worked together for a number of years with great success and I know Spark has been very popular with families in the Oadby area. "We had a break because of the pandemic but now we're looking forward to continuing this strong partnership." To register interest in the classes, get in touch today.
